1919
The slogan “Honesty and quality - basics of our success!” of our defined company principles was already for Carl Brinker, the founder of the bakery Brinker, a matter of course, when he baked his first bread in may 1919 in Wanne-Eickel, the former “city of the bread”.
1968
Karl Brinker II. continued this positiv development. A new company building in 1968 was the conclusion.
In the middle of the seventies the first branches of Brinker were built. This was the developing from a bread specialist to a structured complete assortment bakery with a distinctive brand identity.
1992
After a two year developing time Karl Brinker III. introduced as one of the pioneers “prebacked deep frozen” pastries on the market. This was the reason for a fast company development, so that the old company got much too small for a production with these sales figures.
1997
The movement of the company to the industrial area “Friedrich der Große” with an addition to capacity up to a million bread rolls per day, was one of the highlights at this time.
2000
Bakery Brinker started the globalisation of the deep-frozen distribution. From now on Brinker gets international Partner and supplier for high-quality deep-frozen baking goods.

2001
Expansion of the production area with the enlargement of the capacity for deep frozen stocks.
2007
Enlargement of the production area for fine pastries.
2008
Certificate of IFS (international food standard).
2009
Brinker celebrates 90-years company anniversary.
